This course, being very hands-on, allowed me to experience building of systems on my own. It allowed me to focus on what a system is, how to model a system, and what factors of a system have a role in the system outcome.  By studying the behavior of different parts of a system, I was able to see how small changes in a system can impact the overall success of the system. We developed several models and learned how to deal with unpredictable events that may occur.

"A lab and web-based course that introduces the student to the study of the dynamic behavior of continuous systems that contain feedback. A simulation software is used as part of the course. "Lecture" materials are provided using PSU's online course management systems. Class time is used to assist students in carrying out various labs to reinforce the primary concepts."
